Finned Tubular Elements built by HEATWELL ELEMENTS MANUFACTURING are designed to meet the requirements of each job. Length, wattages, voltage and element style are engineered to give the most economical package consistent with job specifications. All elements consist of a coil made from highest grade of resistance wire available, precisely centered in a stainless steel tube which is filled with magnesium oxide powder. The entire assembly is compacted to maximize both the heat transfer and dielectric properties of the magnesium oxide.
A stainless steel fin is helically wound onto the tube to increase its heat transfer surface. Continuous wound stainless steel fins assure excellent heat transfer and help prevent fin vibration at high air velocities.
